Today, I am reviewing the "Jumbo Maaltijdsalade Garnalen met Whisky-cocktaildressing 400g", or the shrimp salad for short.
I've been taking my salads right-to-left, top-to-bottom from the fridge at my Jumbo and I now realize thy have clustered the seafood items. Sad face emoji.
Not a bad salad this time! It's hard to say what the highlights / lowlights were for this salad. Nothing stood out, but nothing really was explicitly bad.
The whiskey cocktail sauce, while not my favorite, was adequete.
I enjoy the taste of shrimp from time to time. My mother loved to make me prawn / shrimp curry from time to time. I remember sometimes loving it and sometimes being absolutely sick of it. Whatever subconscious memories I have, they must've melded together because I have no strong feelings regarding the shrimp here.
Actually I will say one thing, I'm not sure how to tackle the shrimp. One of the genius design decisions of the grilled chicken is that it is pre-shredded. You can choose the precise amount of chicken to take in per fork-full. With the shrimp, do I tear off bits and pieces? Am I meant to bring a knife to this?
