I'm in Sri Lanka!
I'm also using this period as a moment to really use my new laptop as a daily driver. I got it 2nd hand as a recommendation from a friend, from a refurbished goods website. Actually, funny story there. I meant to buy a i7 11th Gen for some 200 euros but I bought an i5 8th gen by accident! How on earth did that happen??
Anyways, I'm also using nixos on this machine and I want to do it "right". I've done the minimal work, which involves getting git and nvim and setting up my SSH keys. So writing on this blog is not as "optimal" as it could be. But it's definitely useable!
But I also want to set up my tooling correctly, like really getting into my nvim config.
But this is a short update post, so I won't linger! It's also a trial run to see if my CD / "gitops" is working! Hopefully just pushing this entry to my git repo will "just work".
